My one true pairing is forever @katamayadamacy x Whitey
This is Iori Minase. She’s happy despite my inking taking forever. I imagine the dress has something to do with it, it is quite a lovely design.
Anyway, understanding more ink-related ventures but still working out the kinks on how to best use it. At this point, depending on how long these take, I may end up uploading older stuff in the meantime.
This is Yuuko Kanoe. She’s a ghost. And that’s pretty cool. Cool enough that I got interested in using this as a first test for some inking.
It shows a bit as some lines are a bit more darker than others, but hey, you gotta learn somehow. Also, jeez, do those ink lines make this stick out more. It’s nuts. As is the series she’s from.
I don’t think I’ve seen anything that managed to be both funny and terrifying at once. Well, not in a long time, at least. Anyway, more ink tests incoming.
A Miki Hoshii from Idolm@ster appears. With one of the most complex hairstyles I’ve ever had to illustrate. Look at it. It’s crazy.
And in keeping with that complexity, I put in more time towards shading in areas than I’m used to, like the hair and such forth, try to help add more levels of complexity. I’m pretty fine with it.
Also, chose this character because she sleeps a lot. Which is something I need to maintain better. >_>
Revamping a thing with Holo (or is it Horo? I don’t know these things, I just make lines, man) from some months ago.
Took the opportunity to mess with the light source, seeing what it looks like if it’s aimed more at the middle than at the top. Also to see how eyes look when light doesn’t hit them from the top, and I think it looks kinda cool.
Gives off a vibe that feels…animalistic? No, that adjective feels a bit much. …I’m running low on words, so in the meantime, experimenting with more things and getting a chance to look up a thesaurus.
An earlier wall-leaning illustration I made a few weeks prior. This was shortly before the last few episodes of an animu called Nisemonogatari aired. And it really stuck to me.
Not only because of the fast wordplay and the bizarre characters, but because of this egg hair clip. If you only knew how much that thing drives me nuts. It’s an item that I swear exists in the real world, but countless searches are trying to make me believe otherwise.
Alas, I remain undeterred. Also, more characters from this series may eventually appear here…
This is Viki. Look at how happy Viki is. I’d go as far as calling that borderline ecstatic.
But what about the ghost man? Will he be appeased? I dunno, but I’ll do what I can to do so. Maybe.
